Cecilia Hartley and her three best friends are off on the trip of a lifetime--18 days in Italy, Austria, and Germany with her best girls! Along for the trip are her friend's four British cousins. Cecilia, who has always been fascinated by all things British, is very excited to meet them. What Grace doesn't tell her friends is that her oldest cousin is Elliott Parker, a famed British actor who seeks a life out of the spotlight and just wants the world to see the real, genuine him. Cecilia and Elliott start to connect and to fall in love. And Cecilia, who has always been a Disney fan, finds herself in what seems to be like a Disney princess fairytale. However, she can't help but notice that she and Elliott are from two different worlds. Can they find a way to make their love for each other last among the paparazzi, tabloids, jealous fan girls, and more?

Alexa Bervid inherited her love of storytelling from her father and her skill in writing from her mother. The family’s computer is (still) filled with her early stories and plays, many set in other countries and other times. Upon graduation from elementary school, she received the Father Max Pauli C.Ss.R. Creative Writing Award, in recognition of her overall excellence, effort, and exemplary character. The summer after her sophomore year, she attended The Cherry Tree Young Writers’ Conference. During her free writing time, she developed the idea for a fictional story based on her trip to Europe earlier that summer; nine months later that story became A Star to Wish Upon, published just after she turned 17. An only child raised in Annapolis, Maryland, Alexa’s first love is theatre, and she has appeared in numerous school productions, most recently showcasing her comedic skills as Rhonda in Almost, Maine. She also earned a silver medal from the Baltimore Catholic Forensics League for her performance in Children’s Literature. Alexa loves all things Disney, British, Marvel, or musical!
"What sets you apart can sometimes feel like a burden and it's not. And a lot of the time, it's what makes you great."
